Day 1: Johannesburg – Maun – Linyanti
Today you arrive in Maun off a flight from Johannesburg and connect onto your light aircraft flight for the journey to the Linyanti region. This area lies on the border with Namibia and will be your base for the next 3 nights.
You will arrive in time for lunch and some relaxation before the afternoon activity that takes you exploring in this incredible area. There will be a stop for sundowners followed by a night drive to see the nocturnal creatures of Botswana.
Day 2 & 3: Linyanti
The days start early with a wake-up call and a light breakfast before heading out on an activity searching for the predators that the area is renowned for. The guides are passionate about the area and will share their experiences and knowledge which enhances the activities even more. Returning to the bush camp for brunch there will be time for a siesta before the afternoon activity.
The Linyanti is relatively unknown in the African safari world but those who have travelled to the area rate it as one of the best on the continent for its sheer numbers of wildlife and its diversity. It is truly an unforgettable experience.
Day 4: Linyanti – Maun – Johannesburg
This is the final day of your Linyanti safari experience. There will be time for an early game drive to enjoy the spectacular Linyanti one last time followed by breakfast.
You will be transferred to the airstrip before your return flight back to Maun and the onward connection to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport, after a truly memorable safari experience.
